04 Nov First person to ride solo from tip to tip of Borneo Island within 24 hours

On 27 February 2020, PEMODA member Pg Hj Redzaini Bin Pg Hj Ahmad set the national record for being the first Bruneian to ride solo from tip to tip of Borneo Island within 24 hours. The journey started from Teluk Melano, Sarawak at 12 midnight traveling non-stop to Kudat, Sabah at 10:00pm.
The entire journey took 22 hours with a recorded distance of 1,600km. When asked about his experience, Pg Hj Redzaini Bin Pg Hj Ahmad said that it was definitely a challenge but fortunately, the favourable weather conditions made the journey possible.
The purpose of this journey was to promote the forthcoming 21st Borneo Island International Bike Festival (BIIBF) with Brunei Darussalam being the host.
