The Brunei Book of Records has honored The Chinese Chamber of Commerce with the national record for “The oldest Chinese association in Brunei Darussalam”.

The Chinese Chamber of Commerce was established in 1946 as a non-profit organization. Currently, The Chinese Chamber of Commerce has nearly 1,000 members which comprise of a variety of industries including manufacturing, professional services, insurance, law, banking, tourism, import and export, trade, construction, transportation, department stores, wholesale and retail, catering, and service industries.

As of 2021, The Chinese Chambers of Commerce is 74 years old making it the oldest Chinese association in Brunei Darussalam.
