The Brunei Book of Records Officially Launched

The Brunei Book of Records was officially launched yesterday at the Brunei December Festival 2018 awareness campaign on the morning of 14th November, 2018. The launch took place at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism where Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Haji Apong was the guest of honour. Also in attendance were Yang Mulia Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism), members of diplomatic corps, media personnel, strategic partners and event managers.

The launch of The Brunei Book of Records was witnessed by the Minister and the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism). Founder Joanna Osman explained the motivation behind the project and its potential. “We want to encourage Bruneians to compete and create their own records. Brunei has so much talent and we want to showcase them all,” she explained.

The Brunei Book of Records is managed by Barakah Media, supported by Brunei Tourism Board and in collaboration with MMW, the leading creative advertising agency in Brunei.
